Green Energy Capital (GEC) was established in August 2007 with the aim of assisting organisations grow and prosper through adopting and developing sustainable energy products technologies and services.

GEC supplies advisory and support services to Australia’s burgeoning sustainable energy industry which covers renewable energy, gas fired generation and energy efficiency.

GEC is establishing a group with broad skills and expertise that is capable of providing a “cost effective” and “valued” service to Australian sustainable energy businesses.

Sustainable energy has a critical role to play in meeting Australia’s growing demand for energy. Australia’s sustainable energy industry has been growing at between 15 to 20% per annum over the last 5 years. In order to deliver on current government policies our industry will need to grow at more than double or triple this rate. This means that more than $2.5 billion per annum of capital will need to be channelled into our sector as it grows to deliver on existing government programs.
